E. Burch

Born in New Mexico and raised here in Denver as a graduate of Cherry Creek High School (Class of '06), I am back living in Colorado after spending most of my adult life in Oklahoma—a sweet, deeply influential season of my life—and I am now finishing raising my child here in Denver. Over the last two decades, my vocation has centered on caring for the mind, body, and soul, evolving through roles as a Med-Surg and Hospice nurse, a dietary manager in nursing homes, a hospitality professional, an intuitive yoga instructor, and an intentional in-home daycare provider. These diverse clinical, nutritional, and caregiver perspectives directly inform my current academic research and clinical identity. Having completed my Bachelor of Science in Biblical Counseling coursework (with final credit articulation currently processing), I am an incoming doctoral student welcomed into the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program at Liberty University. My program, The Wonder of Words in God's World, translates advanced concepts of somatic calming, emotional regulation, and spiritual formation into active play for toddlers.
